Wednesday's Winter Time

Sharing the beauty from our Wednesday's walk:

There are mountains covered in snow and sunlight in the middle of those clouds.

It's snowing today so the colors are completely different. I feel sad about all the spring flowers that came out early, and all the trees that started growing their foliage. I hope the sun comes back soon.

  1. What a beautiful landscape ! I know what you mean about the flowers - there are lot poking through here too and if it gets colder and snows it will be tough for them.

    1. Winter decided to come late this year, I wonder if the seasons are somewhat moving forward a bit. Thank you so much for the visit Rhiannon and for the comment as well.

  2. The seasons are totally topsey turvey here, buds/leaves etc all out much much earlier and we usually have the worst weather in feb and March :( Poor plants. Snow eh? Seems to have bi-passed us here in the UK which is also weird. We tend to get our weather from east Coast USA and it's not arrived yet...?
Lovely photos thanks for sharing :)

    1. Hello Sandra, I'm so glad you were able to post this comment. You are not the only one with troubles :(
As for the weather... tomorrow we are supposed to have sun again so maybe, this would be the only snow in lower grounds for this year :) But if the seasons are switching a bit (moving forward) then the true winter has yet to come.

  3. lovely photos! we have lots of snow here in Canada (Ontario) and it has been around -16 C for the past few days. so flowers will not be seen for a while now! I do love the snow and winter, though....and appreciate the changes of the seasons too! :) you have a lovely landscape around you! Is there any downhill skiing around there?

    2. No skiing hills in the near vicinity but a few about an hour drive away (some even closer).

Oh how I wish I could help with the commenting problem. I looked on Blogger forum and well.... lots of tech talk which kinda gave me a headache ;) Will try to see if M can help me.

I do appreciate the seasons too, it's great to be able to observe them... I just kind of don't like the snow in the cities and towns for the icky reasons... and it gets so ugly and dirty and.... you probably know too :)

  5. Thank you so much Esther. I really feel blessed to live in such a beautiful country. And I'm really glad you like the little fox above :) I'm having troubles adapting to her as I've been with little Mr Lucky for so long but it was time for a bit of change. At least in a wider sense of perspective (web site coming and all).
